#12 Target audience

 When it comes to making a film, there is always certain people you want this film to reach. Maybe its for kids, maybe its for old couples. That's your target audience, the people you want to watch this film. Now there is more then just age that comes to play when finding your target audience. Things such as age, race, gender, religion, all can come into play when finding your target audience.

When you are thinking of a film you are also deciding who it is targeted to, who you want to be attracted to the film. Maybe you want to make a film that is for teenagers who should be proud of who they are, that is apart of your target audience. To know who you want your film to be aimed towards can help you with your film idea.

For my film I wanted it to be targeted to teenagers and young adults who maybe like plot twists and romance films. A film that doesn't necessarily have a lot of romance but also dramatic based off the plot twist. The age range to be from 16-30. Emotionally mature people, who would see validation in this plotline. An audience that will watch the film to feel understood rather than good.
