#13 setting

In a film, the setting is the time and the place of where the story happens. The setting has a lot of purpose, for context, character development and more. In certain films, there is more than one setting. Changes in setting can lead to bigger messages. The setting can bring clues based off what is in the environment. Setting also influences the plot, it can give context to what the characters actions and motivations are. "Setting can convey important information about characters and their backgrounds through visual clues in their environment."

I want my setting to be based in a home, helping with the plot of the character finding old photos in their house of them and their ex lover. The home is the main setting, but the photos and videos show different places, also the flash back is based in a different place. The switch in backgrounds and places just shows the different moments the couple had. The setting being based in a home helps with the emotional, and relationship motivated story I am going for. Since it is based in a home it can be used for a place where memories flood, especially when the photos and videos are found. It also helps with the audiences awareness with what happens, since they can relate.
