#18 Editing

 Editing is a post-production process, it involves enhancement of raw footage and sound. Editing can have a effect on how an audience interprets a media text and how they feel when they consume it. Now there are two types of systems when in editing. Continuity and non-continuity systems. Continuity systems is a system of editing where time and space are consistent, and events occur in chronological order. Non-continuity systems are a system of editing where time and space are disrupted.

My story is already using a non-linear narrative, so I plan to use non-continuity since it has a disruption in time and space. Also using this system is good to show backstory, in my case to use for showing the memories and what the character is reflecting on. Having this system is good for storytelling.
