#9 Camera shots

Camera shots are used all around in films. Every scene, every clip is using a camera shot. Some shots make the scene more intimate. Certain shots are used to let you examine detail. Camera shots are used to guide the audiences attention, create a certain mood or atmosphere. Camera shots can also be used to convey a message or feeling. Different types of camera shots can create different emotions and moods. Camera shots capture the different types of moments. You can see certain types of shots used for different actions.

Since this is a romance there will be more close up shots to capture detail and emotions. There are certain shots that are used more for romance films. Two-shots are commonly used in romance films to capture shared moments between two characters. Dolly/Tracking shot when tracking movement. Establishing shot to set and establish the scene. To show dialogue and emotions between two characters, you would use a medium shot that frames the characters waist up.

I would like to use a close up shot in a few clips, when showing the main characters reaction and emotions to the photos and videos she finds. Also when showing the photo and video, the audience gets the opportunity to see the photo and video in detail. This will help contribute to the story of the film. I would like to have a medium shot when establishing the characters emotions.
